by dlhammond Jump drive is a drive. All ships must have A drive, the only limit to the number of drives a ship has is energy and slots available. Starbases must not have any drive.

by Donkler It can be quite effective to to give double drives to interceptors instead of giving them guns. Then use them as cheap and maneuverable neutron bombers/sacrificial pinners.

by dlhammond I once upgraded my cruisers with 2x3 drives and a 1 drive, moved 7 spaces and then upgraded again converting 2 of the drives to plasma missiles.
