I brought this up somewhere where I asked about the absolute coolest discoveries. I definitely think this is tops on that list - rarely do you never want to install.I think you're spot on - it's the answer to Plasma Cannons and the justifier for getting Antimatter cannons.
But it is definitely brutal to face a player who puts that on early. And for NO energy! Crazy.
