Mecanema Exile Alliance Idea:
1) Mecanema and Exiles becomes neighbours. They become friends but does not do diplomatic relationship, yet.
2) Mecanema bombs some Exile Hexes. Shiny profit of gold for Exiles.
3) Mecanema builds shiny orbitals for 4materials/piece on conquered hexes.
4) Exiles neutronbombs the same hexes. Shiny profit of gold for Mecanema.
5) Mecanema builds more shiny orbitals and Exiles bombs them also. More shiny profit of gold for Mecanema.
6) Exiles and Mecanema form diplomatic relationship and alliance.
7) If step 5 and 6 are made on the turn #8, mecanema could get ridiculously amounts of actions for turn #9 to wage war against other or make VP other ways. This because of low number of systems and shiny profit of gold. Exiles tries to hold on to shiny orbitals because they are worth 1VP to him/her and therefore cannont make many actions.

While Exiles are neutronbombing Mecanema with minimum force, Exile and Mecanema main military forces should be fighting elsewhere other neighbours.

This strategy could be used with Planta & some good military race without the shiny orbitals of course. Planta needs military protection, but will earn more more VP by holding on to hexes than his good military race ally.

This strategy fails ofcourse when the other betrays the other and does not wish to form alliance at the critical moment.
