I like the idea and how it fits into the game. Maybe you can remove the Antimatter-Cannon and enter three Ion Cannons instead (covering one reactor).

This way developing this early does not change game balance so much and you will need more upgrade actions to improve the station.

Another thing would be to make some of the fields unchangeable, e.g. removing the reactor fields and giving it a static 4 energy reactor. Or you could move the movement part of the drive outside the station to reduce initiative to 0.
