Expansions are often poor value, including mostly fresh air in the box.E:ROTA doesn't really fall into that trap; there are almost half as many components as there were in the base game, and my copy took an age to punch last night; I certainly didn't feel short-changed in any way. Of course, one of the reasons why I feel expansions represent poor value is that I tend not to play them very often; I'm hoping that ROTA can be mixed in with the base game pretty seamlessly, though in all honesty I'm not sure that I can see myself playing this with 8 or 9!
