I just bought ROTA in Canada and (Edit: unboxed it to begin working on my storage solution of the components). The Race Boards that came in the box are the same thickness as the base game boards, but there's just 3(1.5) of them:They are half the size of a base game race's board. For each, one side is the Right half of a Ward/Keep/Sent of Magellan Race Board with their face, and the other side is the left half with fusion source printed in the tech.
There is nothing with the portrait of an Exile, Lyran, or Rho Indi, except the flip sides of the ambassador tiles, and the rulebook. I will try to get pictures up soon.
