With the risk of sounding ignorant, but are there 7 Terran player boards? I was going to have us all play them (consistency in rules and all), but thought RotA didn't have enough? Now I feel stupid and must double check the box.

As far as getting blocked out, I'd just point it out if it appears a player may get blocked out. Or emphasize that the inner rings may have more Ancients but also add better value.

And good call on the 7 Terrans. There definitely isn't, and it also means that one of the players (you) will have to play with one of the RotA races. I'd probably suggest the Magellan, unless you want to handicap yourself, then you can use the Exiles. I'm not convinced they're truly worse than the other races, but they're definitely trickier to use. The Magellan is closer to the Terran races than the other new races though...
