The hive tiles sound cool and the portals sound interesting.I'm not sure if there's enough in this expansion to justify the money though. I enjoy Eclipse and I never play with more than 4 players so the additional player count is worthless to me.
My opinion may change when I see the full additions of the tech tiles. We shall see.
