It's the fact that orbitals are never destroyed no matter which race builds them. It would really suck for the Exiles if only their orbitals are destroyed after actually spending more on them, with no chance of recouping their losses.Think of it more like you're destroying the Exile defense system on the orbital, not the orbital itself.
What is notably cool about Exile controlled orbitals only is that they can pin ships too.
