Rho Indi are FUN if you like to be aggressive, and they seem to go pretty fast during race selection these days in my group. We have had some players in our group come very close to winning with them a few times. The key seems to be constantly waging war and attacking, and not being afraid to abandon worlds later in the game. This is especially true since their homeworld is worth 0 VP.
