Wow, I'm shocked that that is the official answer. I discounted when I first saw it as I just wouldn't expect the followup to such a popular game to go such a route. I've really liked what I've heard up until now, but folded player boards just comes across as very cheap. I'm pretty disappointed in these right now...though I am hoping that i'm wrong and it doesn't look as tacky or cheap as I believe folded player boards would look like.
