Thread: Eclipse: Rise of the Ancients:: General:: How are you combining this with the main set?

I punched/organized this today, and found myself thinking about how best to combine it with the main set.

Extra technology tiles and reputation tiles for 7-9 players: went in a bag and will probably never come out, as I have no plans to play such games.

Extra ship parts: went in the Plano box with the existing ship parts.

New player materials: go in their own bags (with all the Enlightened stuff going in with their color). Hm, I had bought some laser-cut star bases, now I need more!

Rare technologies: went straight into the technology bag, as I expect to play with them every time. If someone really objects, we will just ignore them as they are pulled out.

Rare ship parts: went in a single container, as it seems most of the time only one person will need them so you can just fish out the right parts and hand them to that player.

Discovery tiles: went into the bag with the existing discovery tiles. If people end up not liking Warp Portals, those may come out.

Developments: Easily stored separately.

Ancient cruisers/dreadnoughts: stored separately, need to see if we like these.

Warp sector hexes: mixed in with existing hexes, at least until they are proved to not be fun.

Starting hexes: mixed in with existing starting hexes.

Ancient Hive & Homeworld hexes: stored separately, need to see if we like these.

Regular sector hexes: ??? I just mixed these in for now, not sure if the intent was to only use them for 7-9 or just to add variability to the hex draw.
