by Malfunction
I used 1 mm styrene sheet layered on top of each other. I used a utility knife to cut it. Painted it black and then drybrushed with differend shades. The base is from here: http://www.em4miniatures.com/acatalog/MINIAATURES_BASES.html There is a magnet on top of the base so it can be disassembled for easier storage.I have those bases with magnets for all players cruisers and dreadnoughts too. I have customized all of those ships too (I haven't painted them yet in the picture):
